How to enter

Please download required forms and email back to us at kawerauwoodskills@gmail.com. We welcome all new comers secondary school students and those in teritary education facilities majoring in woodcraft as well as hobbiest.

Exhibit Entry

Please only 1 entry per line, if you wish to sell your piece/pieces please add the price with Name of Work entry information. If you do not put a price in we will assume it is not for sale. We also require for display purposes if your exhibit will need to be hung (wall), set up on a flat surface (stand) or is over 500mm width and 1000mm height (floor) *MAXIMUM ENTRY PER PERSON IS 7 with a *MAXIMUM OF 3 ENTRIES PER CATEGORY you may enter in more than one category if you wish.

FEE'S 

Please choose from the drop down menus that apply to you. Hobbyist, and those that make and sell for a living, and all those that are not apprentices, in tertiary education or at a secondary school/home schooling will use General selection.

Please Pay by direct debit to National Woodskills Trust, ANZ account number 01-0349-0021381-00 (payment within 7 days of entry being received) or send cheque for payment to National Woodskills Trust, PO.Box 11, Kawerau, 3169 (payment within 14 days of entry being received). Use your name as reference and mark your payment preference so that we can ensure payment is received. An invoice and payment receipt will be emailed to you once transaction complete.

DELIVERY

Delivery of your entries is important, as we sign them in and out of the competition/exhibition. Please follow the guidelines below for information and let us know from the drop down menus provided how your entries will get to us.

PERSONALLY

This means you will deliver your entries directly to us within the time frames given in the terms and conditions and you will collect your items within the allocated time frames. If for any reason you are unable to collect on the Sunday (pick up day) please put that information in the notes section of entry form.

COURIER

Please ensure that entries are well packed and are able to be repacked properly at the end of exhibition. Your name needs to be clearly marked on the box - IMPORTANT you will also need to supply a return ticket, a clearly printed return address and a list of your entries sent in that box. Your entries will not be returned unless there is a return ticket. You will be contacted if there is no return ticket and charged accordingly to arrange this.

OTHER

If your entries are being delivered and collected by someone other than you personally or courier, please give us their name and be sure to remind them that ID will be required on collection - your entries will not be given to anyone other than yourself or the listed person. Failure to do this will incur a return cost at your expense, so this information is very important.

All entries are to be here no later than the 20th of September 2019 to ensure they will be entered into the competition. Judging starts at 9am Monday the 23rd of September.

The National Woodskills Trust, will take all reasonable care to repack your items as they were sent, so please make sure there is adequate room and packing materials to do this.

Each point needs to be marked, this reassures us that you have read this form as you have entered your information and understand your obligations and National Woodskills Trusts terms and conditions of entry into the competition. If not National Woodskills trust reserves the right to decline your entry and you will be notified by mail.

PRIZE GIVING & EXHIBITION

this is the most important part of the entire event as our Sponsors who support this event like to meet he winners and entrants of the categories that they sponsor. Without them there wouldn't be the fantastic prize pool that we offer. We understand logistics and are very aware that our competitors come from all over NZ but if you can make it we would love to see you. These two fields are required, we hope to see you there to enjoy all the exciting extra competition, demonstrators and stall holders that help us to make this event the success it is.
