Kawerau Woodfest held in conjunction with Kawerau National Woodskills Competition is a week long experience packed with activities to entrall all. During the weekend along with Woodskills Exhibition in the Ron Hardie recreation center you can find many outddor activities such as Chainsaw Carving, Woodchopping, the Diggy Dig and Big Dig competitions. Chaninsaw races, the Purex world record games, and much more entertainment features, sides shows and the popular markets. Well worth a family day out with most activities during woodfest free.
